•Design Professionals: Our products are available to the trade through one of our representative design showrooms. Please check the website listing to find the one nearest you.
•Individuals: You may contact us directly at 800-850-0460 and we will help you place your order through a designer. Alternatively, you may contact LA Design Concepts at (562-439-5626) or at www.ladesignconcepts.com. Design professionals can then guide you in making the best selection for your needs.
•Orders: Orders must be submitted in writing and require a 50% deposit with purchase order. When your order has arrived from the atelier in France to our U.S. studio, we will notify you. Upon receipt of balance your order will go into final finishing and ship within 15 business days.
• Lead Times: Standard lead time ranges from 10-16 weeks and Quick Ship/Stock items from 2-4 weeks, from receipt of order, deposit, and all required information. Due to circumstances beyond our control we cannot guarantee specific delivery dates. We will notify clients if there is a delay beyond our quoted lead time. Airfreight from France may be possible for rush orders and reduces the lead time by approximately six weeks.
• In Stock Holds:In stock items may be placed on hold for 5 business days. An extension may be requested.
• Dimensions: Listed dimensions may vary slightly. We are in the process of creating technical PDF’s of each of our designs and will soon have them available on our website. In most cases dimensions refer only to hand forged iron elements. Candlesleeves, bulbs, tabletops, shades, etc. are not included in dimensions unless specified. If you have any questions please contact us or your showroom.
• Slight Irregularites: The entire line is hand forged. There may be irregularities of surface, size and finish, which should be expected and appreciated as part of the beauty of the item.
• Finishes: By utilizing the online catalog not only can you view the finish shown on each item, but you can view finish options as well. All pricing includes choice of standard finishing. Premium finishes are available at an UPCHARGE. A second finish is frequently used to accentuate design details such as flowers, birds, leaves, berries, etc. Any combination of two standard finishes may be ordered at no additional charge. Please specify the main finish first and the accent finish second (traditional brown with antique gold).When selecting a finish color we always suggest viewing the finish in person as monitors and printed material are often inconsistent in their color replication. You can view a finish by visiting your showroom or request a sample when you place your order.
• Accessories: Tabletops, shades, cylinders, etc. are often used for photographic purposes and are not included in the price of the piece unless noted in the specifications. Options are noted under each piece. For shades please note that the style number represents the approximate dimensions of the shade. For example, CL3.5.5 is a cream linen with a 3" top diameter, a 5" bottom diameter, and a 5" side slant. If you like an accessory that you see on one piece, but that accessory is not listed as an option on a piece that you are interested in, please inquire. Often such a request can be accommodated, but may require customization.
• Furniture Upholstery: Please include any special instructions regarding upholstery with the quote and purchase order. All upholstery is COM/COL. Please ship your fabric or leather to Ironware International, Inc. and sidemark with your showroom name and PO number. A wood template can be provided for clients who would like to have the upholstery done elsewhere, quote required. Standard welt is 1/4". We use 2" to 3" high density long lasting foam. The 9035 style has a feather seat cushion.
• Pendants & Lanterns w/ Panels: Standard panel options are available at no charge. Please refer to options within the specific piece for selections. Premium panels may be available at an UPCHARGE.
• Bed Assembly: All four corners of the bed fame need to be inserted into the slots on the headboard and footboard at the same time. The frame may need to be tapped with a rubber mallet. We recommend that two people install and assemble an Ironware bed. Headboard only is wall mountable, it will not mount to your existing frame. Please consider the depth of your baseboard if it differs from standard, when ordering a headboard only. Concerning drapery rings, the canopies on a twin, full, and queen do not dismantle. King canopies dismantle only on the sides, not above the head and foot of the bed. Custom drapery rings may be ordered and will be permanently attached to the bed, unless the canopy is customized to further break down. The minimum height for a bed frame is 6" from the floor.
• Leather top tables: A few tables in our line come with a leather top. As with any leather product, the surface is fragile and should be protected. A barely damp cloth or dry clean cloth should be sufficient to clean leather if something smudges it, but no liquid of any kind should be used on the Antique color leather; use only dry cloths or dust brushes on the Antique color leather. Leather care products such as mink oil and saddle soap are fine but may darken the leather color.
• Returns, Exchanges, Cancellations, Changes: Returns or exchanges are considered on a case by case basis and will not be accepted without prior consent. Requests must be submitted in writing. There is a re-stocking fee on approved returns (up to 40%). Custom pieces cannot be returned or canceled or changed if in production with the atelier in France.
• Storage at Ironware International, Inc.: Storage fees will accrue for unreleased orders that have been at Ironware International, Inc. for over ninety (90) days. The charges will be $5 per UPS size box and $10 per freight size box per day. After one year from notification of arrival in the U.S. Ironware International, Inc. reserves the right to cancel the order and retain all product and funds received.
• Pricing Disclaimer: Due to omissions and errors, prices are subject to change without notice. Published prices do not include packing and freight charges as well as accessories unless noted otherwise.
• Copyright Protection: Each piece is internationally copyrighted with the United States Library of Congress. Should any party copy, reproduce or infringe upon the design integrity of an Ironware International,Inc. piece without written permission, Ironware International, Inc. will defend all copyrights and trademarks to the fullest extent of the law.
• Installation: We recommend that only licensed electricians install our products. All lighting products over 40lbs must be hung professionally and suspended independently of the electrical box. Consult a qualified structural engineer or architect to determine the correct hanging procedure.
• UL Approval: All lighting is UL approved. For Canadian UL approval there is a 5% upcharge.
